Lifetime Limited Warranty
At Hikecare, we stand behind our products for the long run. This Lifetime Limited Warranty applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal personal use, subject to the terms below.
1. Who Is Covered
This Lifetime Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of the product. If the product was received as a gift, the recipient may make a warranty claim if they can provide sufficient proof of purchase, including the order number and purchase details.
2. Warranty Duration
This Lifetime Limited Warranty lasts for the reasonable useful life of the product under normal personal use by the original retail purchaser. The term “lifetime” refers to the product’s reasonable useful life and not to the life of the purchaser or any other person.
3. What Is Covered
This Lifetime Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal personal use of the product.
4. What Is Not Covered
This Lifetime Limited Warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear,
- cosmetic changes that do not affect the functionality of the product,
- damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper care, improper storage, or improper cleaning,
- damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs,
- damage resulting from use outside normal personal use, or
- size, comfort, fit, or preference-related issues that are not caused by a manufacturing defect.
5. How to Make a Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us in writing by email at info@hike-care.com and include:
- your full name,
- your order number,
- the email address used for the purchase,
- a brief description of the issue, and
- clear photos or videos showing the product and the alleged defect.
The photos or videos must reasonably allow us to identify the product, its condition, and the alleged manufacturing defect. We may request additional information if needed to evaluate your claim.
6. Warranty Remedy
If we determine that a valid manufacturing defect exists and the claim is covered by this Lifetime Limited Warranty, we will, at our option:
- replace the product,
- replace it with a comparable product if the original product is no longer available, or
- provide store credit or a refund where replacement is not reasonably available or otherwise required by applicable law.
The remedy we choose will be the sole and exclusive remedy available under this Lifetime Limited Warranty, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
7. Claim Timing
Please submit warranty claims within a reasonable time after you first discover the issue. Failure to notify us promptly may affect our ability to assess the claim properly.
8. Shipping and Claim Costs
Unless prohibited by applicable law or unless we expressly state otherwise, you are responsible for the cost of sending the product to any designated inspection or return address.
If your warranty claim is approved, we may, at our discretion, provide a replacement shipment at no additional cost to you or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping costs.
9. Relationship to Return Policy
This Lifetime Limited Warranty is separate from our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Return Policy. The 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies to eligible returns made within the stated return period. This Lifetime Limited Warranty applies only to covered manufacturing defects.
10. Limitation of Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the product or this Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
12. State Law Rights
This Lifetime Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
